No way. It is impossible to transfer anything other than a 2018 return to a 2019 return. Are you using the current online software? The online software is ONLY for a 2019 return. The only way to prepare a 2018 return is to download desktop software to your own hard drive.

The same thing happened to me! I bought my Turbo Tax at Costco, as I always do. My 2017 and 2018 returns are on my computer, but the 2019 version imported the 2017 info to my 2019 return!!
