If you have the tax file ending in .tax2015 you need the 2015 program installed to open it. Turbo Tax does not support 2015 anymore. If you get 2015 installed you won't be able to update it or download any state programs you might need.

There is another website that can turn your .tax file into a pdf so you can view it.

Or do you have have the pdf file?

A tax data file cannot be converted to a PDF. Only the TurboTax software for the year of the data file can be used to open the file.
