Did it not give you any message at all?

Does your return have any income items, or is it a zero-income return? Or did you have foreign earned income and all was excluded with the Foreign Earned Income Exclusion?

I've paid for the service, and need to file for both, this years, AND last years Taxes.... Yet it tells me a Form (Schedule U ) Is missing, and to file, By Mail... Yet when I try to down load, is says Not to file by mail.... My Fee of $80 Was taken, with No Problem! Yet I have not received, What I paid for ?????

What is a Schedule U? Is that some state form? If so, what state? Many states have forms that are not yet available but will be available for efiling later. Certain state forms may also not yet be ready for printing and may have a "do not file" watermark until the form is released.

Check state form availability dates in the table below. It should tell you when the form is available to efile or print.

Online TurboTax cannot prepare a 2019 tax return; it is currently for 2020 returns only. Do NOT try to prepare and file a 2019 return using the Online website.

If you want to use TurboTax to prepare a 2019 return, you'll need to use 2019 desktop software (CD/download). You can purchase 2019 desktop software directly from TurboTax as a download at this page and install it on your computer:

You may be able to find the 2019 software cheaper at a reputable authorized retailer like Amazon, but even there be sure it is a legitimate authorized product from Intuit sold directly by Amazon itself, since there's no way to be sure all third-party sellers on Amazon are legitimate. The 2019 return cannot be efiled. It will need to be printed, signed, dated, and mailed. It's a good idea to mail by a method that has tracking, such as certified mail, priority mail, etc.

If you need to file 2019 Federal and state returns, you need to mail each one separately to its respective tax agency.
