I purchased Turbo Tax deluxe 2016 at Walmart and it won't install on my PC

I keep getting an unexpected Windows Installer error. Is it the software or my PC?

Right click on the Turbotax installation file on the DVD...

Right click on the Turbotax installation file on the DVD and click on Run as administrator and see if that helps allow Turbotax to be installed.

Copy all the files from the Turbotax installation CD to a folder {Ensure to make a new folder} on your desktop and try the install from there.Right click on the Turbotax installation file and click on Run as administrator . This bypasses a corrupt DVD install path.
