The Turbotax program is an interview based system ... you do not enter on the forms directly. And although you can do direct form entry in the FORMS mode of the Downloaded version doing so will void the accuracy guarantee and keep you from efiling the return. If all you want are the blank forms to fill in you can get those for free from the Fed or state websites.

All of the Downloaded versions have all the same forms so you can use any of them ... if you need to complete a state return then choose Deluxe or higher. If you want/ need more assistance then upgrade in program.

If you are going to use the 2019 Online version you will need Premier or better .

If you need to file 2016 thru 2018 then you must use the downloaded version and when complete the return must be mailed in. https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/
