unable to use online version, can I obtain a cd version for 2017

I purchased the online 2017 tax version, however, none of my computer desktop or laptops are compatible with the version. I need some assistance with how to access a compatible version or a cd.

Online for 2017 is closed. Online is only for 2018. You mean you bought the program Download? Sorry there is no other version. And the CD program is the same as the download. You will have to get the blank forms from the IRS and your state and fill them out by hand or go to an accountant or another company. Or find a computer you can install the program on.

What computers do you have that are not compatible? You don't have Windows 7 or higher?

If you have a simple return, you can fill out the blank forms by hand for free.

Prior year returns can only be printed and mailed. When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS received the return.

And don't forget state.

Or did you buy the wrong download? Like the Mac download instead of the Windows download? Either way you probably need to call in and get a refund or the right download.
