My name on the tax return is incorrect. My account has the correct name. How do I my name updated on the prior tax return? Thanks!

To edit your name on your current return, go to My Info and click edit by your name. Why are you asking about a prior return--for what year?

Thanks for helping out!

For 2018, I updated my account and waited for a while but when I download the return for 2018, it still shows the wrong name.

Didn't pay attention to the name before until now cause I need it for loan purpose. It should be an "a" instead of "e" in my name.
