Any progress on solving the size of downloads from financial institutions? Our downloads were corrupted by file sizes and data had to be manually entered. This diminishes the effectiveness of TurboTax for us. We understand TurboTax was working on the issue. Thanks

The number of stock transactions from a brokerage account is limited to around 500 when using the TurboTax online editions and about 2,000 when using the TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions. The number of transactions per platform has been set for quite a few years and it is not known whether or not TurboTax will increase these limits for the following tax year.

I have tried to download data from a brokerage FIVE times and your program locked me out each time for 15 minutes even though I waited more than the required time, it still kept restarting the clock before I could sign in. You are wasting my time.

I would suggest trying clearing out everything and refreshing then try it again.

Start by clearing your browser's cache. Then log out and log back into TurboTax. You can also try using a different browser.

Then follow DoninGA's advice in the post above.
