You will need to be much more specific about the expenses you had for "energy efficiency" and "meals on the road" in order to get any help or answers. Are you self-employed? Or did you receive a W-2 from an employer? Please do not include any personal information but we need more details to understand why you expect deductions for those things.

if you got a W-2 , deductions for employee business expenses (EBE)were eliminated for the 2018 tax year

but you need to clarify what you mean by energy efficiency. if you bought an EV, you may be entitled to a tax credit which is separate from EBE.
