Normally if a third-party is offering a discounted price, you'd need to Clear and Start over any progress you've made, and be sure to sign out of your account. Go to the page offering the discounted price, and make sure you go to TurboTax through their page.

That should then apply the discount to your return for you.

Luckily since you're a Self-Employed user, you can contact us and speak to a live agent who can go about applying that discount for you.

This is stated above but yet not honored by Turbo tax when I called. Discount is not working and they said they cannot apply the discount for me, yet it states it here in their responses.
