Box answers aren't being accepted for fed return

One of my last pages for the fed return asks me for a payment plan, when I signed for 25 per month on an earlier page. It has the 742 in one box that I can't delete and the message will not allow me to pay over 0 per month. Another page asks for an amount. Neither will accept anything. Contact me on this site as my phones are having issues.

Are you using the online or downloaded program?

First delete the 9465 form ...

Here's the general procedure for viewing the forms list and deleting unwanted forms, schedules, and worksheets in TurboTax Online:

Open your return in TurboTax. (To do this, sign in to TurboTax, and select Take me to my return.)
In the In the pop-up window Tool Center, choose Delete a form.
Select Delete next to the form/schedule/worksheet in the list and follow the onscreen instructions.

Then complete the FILE tab again BUT DO NOT choose the installment plan this time ... instead choose to mail in a check. Then you can choose how much to send now and get on the payment plan directly on the IRS website ( fee is cheaper that way) OR pay nothing now and wait for the IRS to send you a bill with the form 9465 included. https://www.irs.gov/payments/online-payment-agreement-application
