I was worked around 4 months in US and my wife was in India at that time. How do I file tax with my marital status? If I tried with married status, asking SSN number of my wife. She never come to US at anytime. So, she don't have SSN or ITIN number. Let me know, what marital status that I need to give at the time of tax filing

Your status as a nonresident alien requires you to file a Form 1040NR tax return. TurboTax does not support Form 1040NR.

No, you do Not file a Form 1040 if your status is a nonresident alien. You would file a Form 1040NR
