my new laptop does not have slot to download the turbotax ,I purchasedthe premier locally

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created. TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.

If you purchased the TurboTax desktop edition from TurboTax then sign onto you download account and download the software again at no charge - https://shopping.turbotax.intuit.com/unified/downloads?route=myaccounts

You do understand you won't be able to get your tax return unless you saved a backup on a usb flash drive or somewhere like DropBox or some backup program or cloud. Did you file yet? You can get a copy from the IRS.
