You need to go back to go back through your return (My info, click Edit on your name) and check Yes, someone else can claim me as a dependent on their tax return. You should then be able to re-e-file.

If they are qualified to claim you just fix your return and efile again. Do NOT amend! Just log back in and Click on Add a State to let you back into your retun.

Then go to My Info

Click Edit by your name and go down to #3

see screen shot.

Thdn go through the File tab again.
