There is no online program to prepare a 2017 return. The online program is ONLY for 2018.

A 2017 return can only be prepared using the downloaded/installed desktop software for 2017 on a full PC or Mac, and the return must be printed, signed and mailed. You cannot e-file a 2017 return.

Not sure if you would get any sympathy/help from customer support for your lost 2017 CD. You can try:

To file a return for a prior tax year

Do you need to prepare a 2017 return or access one you did? When did you buy the CD? Did you ever install it and need to reinstall it? Like on a different computer? If you tried to install it in the past check the CD drive, maybe the CD is still in it.
