I have a hard copy of a 2001 turbotax file but I won't be back in Florida until October. Is there a way to retrieve a file I have on my laptop that old?

What file do you have? Is it the .tax file and/or the pdf?

You can try to convert a .tax file to pdf at www.taxprinter.com

I have both files, but the PDF file doesn't give me the info I want for some reason.

Like kind exchange basis info. I have hard copy file in Fla which I'll get in Oct, but would like to pull up TT file. No an urgent issue.
