Yes, you should be able to import your Form 1099 from Charles Schwab; however, the brokerage will most likely not have the forms available until early February.

Once I enabled this is Schwab it worked. Intuit should have that suggestion in their software when it fails for Schwab. The nebulous error message is lazy and useless.
