All CD/download product versions include Schedule C. Only the Self Employed version of the online product includes Schedule C.

In terms of the Online products, TurboTax Deluxe, Premier, and Self-Employed all can do a Schedule C; HOWEVER, support of expenses for Schedule C is very limited in TurboTax Deluxe and Premier. Most self-employed taxpayers will want to use TurboTax Self-Employed in order to maximize the amount of business deductions that they can take. Who might want to use Deluxe or Premier? A taxpayer who had received a one-off 1099-MISC for work as a contractor who doesn't have any business expenses.

Since the downloaded versions all have the same forms and capability you can save money by using the downloaded deluxe version (Basic if you don't need a state return). Once you use the superior downloaded version most will never go back to the online option unless their computer OS is not up to the task.
