When you enter your own information in Personal Info, you have to answer the question "Were you married?" If you click the button for Married, then a drop down will appear that asks, "Do you want to file this return together with your spouse?" Then you choose yes to file a joint return. You would then enter your spouse's information into Personal Info. Whenever you are entering income information there should then be a spot for you and for your spouse's income information.

if there is no window to scroll down to confirm that I want to do my taxes with my spouse, what should I do?

you guys have send me the same answer. My question was: what should I do if I changed status for married but the task to add the spouse did not open.

Are you using TurboTax Online or Desktop?

If using TurboTax Online: Try to clear your browser's cache and delete cookies. A full or corrupted cache can keep TurboTax from functioning properly. If that doesn't work, try a different browser such as Safari or Firefox if you're currently using Chrome and vice versa.

If you haven't entered too much you can try to clear and start over
