Read the following...but your response needs to be something like showing on the last italicized line

From SU @VolvoGirl

"The specific issue is with Windows Defender Security Center Virus & Threat Protection Controlled Folder Access.

When turned ON it "protects your files and folders from unauthorized changed [should be changes] by unfriendly applications" but blocked me from saving my file.

The popup message that I got was "Controlled Folder Access blocked C:\Program...\Acrobat.exe from making changes to the folder %userporfile%\Documents" and it did the same thing with "\Desktop" as the last thing in the string of code.

When we turned that OFF, I had no problem saving my TT file, though it left me vulnerable.

I have since added C:\Program Files(x86)\TurboTax\Deluxe2017\32bit to the Allowed Apps and turned Controlled Folder Access ON, and everything seems to be working fine.

Hope this helps.
