You can deduct part of the bill for the phone depending on how much of the time you use it for business.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;While it is easiest not to mix the business and&amp;nbsp;personal assets, most small businesses use assets personally as well as professionally.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When you do this, you need to establish a method that you can prove to the IRS as to what percentage of the time you use the phone for personal and professional.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you use it 50% of the time for business, then you can deduct 50% of the bill.&amp;nbsp; If you use it 35% for business then you can deduct 35% of the bill.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
