I started filling with h&rblock this year, well I decided to try turbo and I was rejected cause ss# have been used by me when I started h&rblock.what do I do? I need asap

Since I started with h&r block, can I go erase it? And come back to TurboTax, cause nobody has claimed my kids but me. And I'm late on bills I really can't wait until a check comes in. Please help me

Your return is rejected by the IRS, not TurboTax or any other tax prep vendor. And the IRS would reject your SSN on if your return had actually been filed, not just because you had started with another tax prep vendor.

You need to go back to that other tax prep vendor and ask if your return has actually been filed. If so, then your return can't be erased - it's already on its way to the IRS. Ask the other tax prep vendor about the return and refund status.

Note that there are other reasons why your SSN may be rejected: identity theft, someone else claimed you on their return, etc. Look up the rejection code and message on TurboTax (Search ttlc.intuit.com) to see what the exact reason for rejection was.

Whose ssn was rejected? Maybe someone else claimed your child? Or could your child have filed their own return? Could be several reasons. Did you get a Reject Code? Here is a list of reasons and reject codes you can check
