Where can I change the status of claiming myself as a dependent? My return was rejected because my parents already claimed me as a dependent.

Scroll down to 3. A few other things we need to know
Select Yes to Someone else can claim me as a dependent on their tax return
Select Yes to And this person will claim me on their 2017 tax return.
