      <description>&lt;P&gt;They are not "removed" so to speak ... you will see the total dividends listed on the form 1040 line 9a and the qualified dividends on line 9b.... then the tax calculation for line 44 happens on a worksheet ... this is how it is "removed".&amp;nbsp; Review the Qualifying Dividends &amp;amp; Capital Gains Tax worksheet to see how it is handled.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>I also have 80% of my dividends as qualified.  and I have significant cap gains. I don't understand why the QDCG worksheet is not even filled out. I manually printed and filled in the QDCG tax worksheet.  The tax comes out LESS that what TT is calculating.</description>
