To Snap a photo of W-2. Follow these instructions.

Here's how to take a picture of your W-2 the TurboTax mobile app:

Sign in to the app (if you're not already signed in) and navigate to the W-2 photo screen:
1. Tap the upper-left corner to open the side navigation bar.
2. Tap Wages & Income (under Federal).
3. Select the option to work on your W-2.
4. Keep swiping until you reach the OK, how would you like to enter your W-2? screen.
Tap Snap a photo of my W-2.
Follow the instructions to optimize the image. When fully optimized, TurboTax will automatically snap the picture for you.
- Note: This picture won't be saved on your device, nor in your TurboTax account.
Continue following any instructions to upload your W-2.

Literally none of those instructions are on my app. I just want to file my W-2

Tried to snap picture of taxes but it does nothing

You can import your W-2 into the TurboTax mobile app by taking a picture of it. Here’s how:

Open the app and select Wages & Income. Tap the button.
Select Job (W-2) and select Continue on the Let's start with some info from this W-2 screen.
When you see the How do you want to enter your W-2? screen, tap Snap a photo and then Continue.
If asked, give permission to TurboTax to access your camera.
Helpful tips might appear before you see the option to select Now let's snap a photo.
- Note: Although TurboTax will use your device's camera, the W-2 picture won't be saved with your other device pictures, nor in your TurboTax account.
TurboTax should then automatically import your information, or direct you to type it in if there’s a problem.
