I have never filed before. filing a 1099-misc and im confused because i don't see anywhere where i enter the total amount of money i made this year?

You can enter the form this way, please follow the steps below:

1.Sign into your Online account and select Take me to my return.

2. Select Federal in the left side panel.

3. In the upper right corner click on Search.

4. In the search box type 1099misc.(see screenshot below)

5. Then click on Jump to 1099misc (see screenshot below)

6. This should bring you to the screen that says Let's get the info from your 1099misc.

7. You can then enter the information from the Form that you received.
