You really should wait for the W-2 and not use your paystubs. But if you must use your pay stub, you can file a substitute W-2 using Form 4852. See instructions below.

The IRS requires an employer to send a W-2 form by 1/31/18. If you have not received your W-2 at this date, contact the IRS (800-829-1040)
