Should box 1 and 16 be the same on a Missouri W2?

I worked in the state of Missouri for a few days so I go my w2 with no amounts in box 1 but in box 16 it has $71.84, shouldn't box 1 be the same amount?

Not necessarily. Box 1, your Total wages, (Federal) is not always on the state copy (of your W2).

Box 15-17 (state information) could list numerous states, with different amounts. See the FAQ article below for more. I’ve attached a screenshot example of a multiple state W2 as well.
