It says I need to check my 1099, which I have done several times and it won't let me move past this. I don't have additional information to put here so I don't know what else to put or correct.

It's easiest to first delete the 1099-MISC and then add i...

It's easiest to first delete the 1099-MISC and then add it following these steps.

Note: If
you have "Non-employee compensation" (Box 7 of a 1099-MISC),
according to the IRS it is considered income from self-employment. You are
considered to have a self-employed "business" and you are the
"owner". TurboTax will help you report it as Business Income on
a Schedule C or C-EZ.

First, make sure to edit
or delete any 1099-MISC if it was entered incorrectly.

·
Simply search for the form number (for example, 1099-MISC) and then
click the "Jump to" link in the search results to get to the
Summary screen.

 If
that doesn't work:

1.
Open your return in TurboTax.

(To
do this, sign in to TurboTax, and click the orange Take me to my return button.)

2.
In the upper right corner, click My Account > Tools.

3.
In the pop-up window, select Delete a form.

4.
Click Delete next to the 1099-MISC and follow the
onscreen instructions.

Then:

To enter a 1099-MISC for your Business in TurboTax:

Sign into your TurboTax account

Click the orange Continue your return button if so prompted

Click Search in the upper right hand corner of your screen

Type "Schedule C" in the search box and hit enter on your keyboard

Click Jump to Schedule C

You'll come to the "Here's the business info we have so far" screen

Click the blue Edit button next to the business you want to input your 1099-MISC for

Click Start (or Update) next to Business Income (see attachment for reference)

On the next screens you'll be able to input your 1099-MISC information

Important: If you have already input this 1099-MISC elsewhere, make sure you go back to that input and delete it so that you are not taxed twice on this income.
