That's not the same as the topic of this thread.   Did you try to log in too many times and are locked out for a certain time?

If you don't remember your password or User ID, use the Account Recovery tool at the link below to regain access.    Try using your phone number first.   After that, if necessary, then run the tool on your email address(es) you can access.

NOTE: Before running the account recovery tool below, log out of all Intuit accounts including this user forum, or you might end up in a loop.  Then clear your browser Internet cache, close your browser, then reopen it, and go to the link below.  You may wish to copy this link so you can paste it into the new browser session.

If still no luck after running that on your phone number and email address(es) that you can access,  here's another method:

Go back to the tool again, but this time leave the data field blank, and choose the small blue link that says "Try something else", and it will look you up by SSN and other parameters.

If your "Transmit My Returns Now" button is not working, it may be due to a CAPTCHA not appearing, where one would need to checkmark "I am not a robot."

NOTE: Are you using any ad blockers or script blockers? If so, that may be blocking the CAPTCHA.

Otherwise, here's how to troubleshoot:

First, simply refresh the page in your browser and see if that changes anything.
If not, then log out and clear your browser Internet cache.
Close the browser and reopen it.
Make sure cookies are allowed/enabled in your browser settings so the CAPTCHA will appear.
Log in and try again.
If still unsuccessful, do all the above, then this time open a private window/private browsing (aka "incognito mode").
Log in with the private window (again making sure cookies are allowed) and try the efile again.

Or see if trying a different browser (with cookies allowed) will solve it.

Completed my return. Tried to transmit/file...no Captcha...
So, I switched to Mozilla Firefox. Went to my completed return (same user name and ID). My completed return was right there, and in a step or two, Captcha appeared and I filed my return. You need to file it on compatible browser. Turbo Tax can tell you which browsers work

All the common browsers "potentially" work (Chrome, Firefox, IE, Safari), but not all browsers are configured the same way, since there are innumerable ways that users can customize and configure cookies, privacy settings, etc.. And some people use browser extensions like script blockers and ad blockers, etc, or may be using high security in IE, etc. Firefox might work for one person, but not for another. Chrome might work for someone, but not for another. It's unpredictable, and trial and error. That's why simply changing browsers often works, since it's likely that the second browser is not configured exactly the same way as the first browser.

To change browser, you choose a different search engine such as Chrome, Firefox, IE, Safari), next open your Turbo Tax account using the new search engine.
