He put "NO" on both line 9 and 10 meaning he didn't allocate policy amounts with me. He told me he got an extra $315 because of that. What do I put on mine? Do I also put "NO" on line 9 and 10 or do I put "YES" on line 9 and enter his social and put 0's on line 30 e,f, and g since he already got money back? Kind of confused don't want to mess up.

If he took 100% then you get 0% of the allocation.... and the program will complete that confusing form for you ....

If you have received a letter from the IRS asking for form 8962, form 1095-A, and
a recalculated form 1040, page 2, please check
which tax year the letter references. If
your letter does not specifically ask for a recalculated page 2 of your
1040, you may disregard that part of the directions. You will only need to provide what
the IRS has requested in their letter.

Because you purchased your health insurance through
Healthcare.gov or a state marketplace, Form 8962, Premium Tax Credit (PTC)
should have been included in your return. It’s used to calculate the amount of
your Premium Tax Credit and reconcile any advance payments you received to help
pay your health insurance premium.

The
IRS believes you should have gotten a 1095-A so if you didn't get
your 1095-A from the ACA Marketplace then you need to contact them for a
duplicate copy or to find out if you were supposed to get one at all ... one
may have been issued by mistake ... they are open 24/7 ... https://www.healthcare.gov/contact-us/

We’ll help you complete this form with Turbo Tax and you do not have to submit an
amendment, just print off and return the forms the letter specified. If the letter is for tax year 2016, follow the
directions below. If the letter is for tax year 2015 or 2014, please click on the link at the bottom.
