If everyone got back all the taxes that they paid, there would be no&nbsp;money to run the government. You have to expect to pay taxes every year, and not to get most of it back.</P><P>There's nothing wrong with owing a small amount of&nbsp;tax to the state (or federal government) at the end of the year. It means that you did not give the state an interest-free loan.
