      <description>&lt;P&gt;Your dependency status has no bearing on the requirement to report all of your income to the IRS every year, regardless of your age. If you worked and received income, you are required to report that income to the IRS on a tax return, for the tax year you are paid that income. So if I understand you correctly, that means you have to file past year's tax returns for every year you had income.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
