To change your filing status before you file you will need to revisit the Personal Info section.

Please follow these steps:

In your return, select the Personal Info tab

Under the Personal Info Summary select edit next to Marital Status

Follow the on screen instructions to change your filing status

You will also want to check out the requirements to use Head of Household filing status, to verify that you can qualify - please see the following TurboTax FAQ, "Do I qualify for Head of Household?", which explains the requirements to be able to qualify for Head of Household filing status - when you go through the Personal Info section, TurboTax willl let you know if your situation qualifies you for Head of Household:
