  &lt;B&gt;The document number is an 8 to 10 digit combination of numbers and letters on your license, permit or non-driver ID. Please review the following&amp;nbsp;on where to locate this number on your driver's license or other state ID.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/B&gt;

&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;

    &lt;U&gt;If you haven't done so please review the following steps on how to correct and resubmit your NYS return.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/U&gt;
  &lt;/B&gt;
&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We’re happy to report that this issue was&amp;nbsp;resolved in a Turbo Tax update that was released on 02/13/2018.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please log back into your Turbo Tax account and follow the "&lt;B&gt;Fix It Now&lt;/B&gt;" interview path to correct and resubmit your NYS return.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the “Fix This Return” does not help you, or you get stick on a loop, please follow the steps below.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;On the left-hand side menu click on “&lt;STRONG&gt;File&lt;/STRONG&gt;”&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;On the next screen click “&lt;STRONG&gt;Continue&lt;/STRONG&gt;”&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;On the next screen under&lt;STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;Step 3&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;click “&lt;STRONG&gt;Start”&lt;/STRONG&gt;
&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;On the screen titled “&lt;STRONG&gt;Let’s get ready to e-file&lt;/STRONG&gt;” click “&lt;STRONG&gt;I want to e-file&lt;/STRONG&gt;”&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;You will come up to a screen that ask for &lt;B&gt;Primary Filers ID&lt;/B&gt;. Click “Continue”&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;On the next screen &lt;B&gt;input ID information including the Document Number&lt;/B&gt;. After you are done click “Continue”&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;The next screen should ask the &lt;B&gt;spouse ID&lt;/B&gt; click “Continue”&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;On the next screen i&lt;B&gt;nput ID information including the Document Number&lt;/B&gt;. After you are done click “Continue”&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;On the next screen read the agreement form. Then click continue.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;On the “Let’s take a look at your returns before you file” screen click on continue&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;On the next screen, ”It's time to sign and transmit your 2017 return” Fill out what is need then click the orange “Transmit my returns now” button&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;
  &lt;B&gt;
    &lt;U&gt;If you have followed these steps and are still unable to correct and submit your return, please do the following:&lt;/U&gt;
  &lt;/B&gt;
&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. Delete ALL information entered for Driver's license ID or state ID fields.&lt;BR /&gt;2. Clear out cache and cookies in your web browser(s).&lt;BR /&gt;3. Re-enter all information for the driver's license or State ID.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;4. Go through the "Fix it Now" or the steps above to correct and resubmit your return.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If after trying, the steps do&amp;nbsp;not correct the issue, you will need to mail in the return. Please review the following &lt;B&gt;Turbo&lt;/B&gt; &lt;B&gt;Tax FAQ&lt;/B&gt; on how to do so:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;
