To edit the entries in dividends in your version:

1. Click Federal Taxes across the top.

2. Click Wages & Income across the top.

3. Click I’ll choose what I work on.

4. Scroll down to Interest and Dividends.

5. Click Start or Update by Dividends on 1099-DIV.

Select the one you'd like to edit.

did not appear.

Furthermore, the total shown on the "Interest and Dividend" option is more than

the sum of the entries.

CherylW's guidance still appears valid for the TurboTax version that the original poster was using, but you may be using TurboTax Online.

If this is the case, then, to edit the entries in dividends in TurboTax Online:

1. Click Federal in the left pane.

2. Click Income & Expenses across the top.

3. Click Edit/Add or Start next to Dividends on 1099-DIV.

4. Go back through the interview process.
