Why do I need to put in credit card for free extension

I just want to file an extension which is supposed to be free. Why must I submit credit card information?

If you are being asked for a credit card info in Easy Extension, it’s because you added a TurboTax product (to do your taxes later) on a previous screen. The credit card is needed to pay for that product — not the extension. If you wold like to remove the product, go back to the product selection page and click "I'll choose later" at the bottom of the screen.

Where is the credit card information entered. I am being told I can't file because of incorrect credit card information, Where do I enter this information?
