Using Turbo Tax was the worst decision I ever made! It was difficult to use and charged me a ridiculous amount of money and I could not even file my taxes. It did not help me in fixing the issue of filing my taxes either. Literally just a giant scam. I would much rather do my taxes with absolute anyone else but turbo tax. Its also a million times cheaper with a tax expert in my town. DO NO WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!

I've been trying to retrieve my taxes from prior years and it just keeps asking me to download/upgrade their other products without being able to after purchasing their current year software...

It's definitely been a waste of my time.

Would not recommend others to continue using.

Purchasing the current year software does not give you access to the prior year online tax returns. You have to upgrade the online account to access those tax returns.

You will not be able to upgrade to the Plus edition for tax year 2018 since the TurboTax online editions for 2018 have closed to make way for the 2019 online editions. Once the 2019 online editions become available in December, at that time you can start a 2019 return and upgrade to Plus.

Or contact TurboTax support during business hours and see if there are any other options available for accessing a prior year online tax return.
