      <description>&lt;P&gt;Usually, the source of the income is where the work was performed. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So if you live and work from MO but the W-2 Employer is located in NY, you will only have to file a resident state income tax return for MO. You will have no NY state income tax filing requirement.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
