Are the employer portion of the FICA taxes reported on Form 941 with the employee portion? If so, where?

Where is the employer portion reported? Or do we just send in our payment along with the employee withholdings, and there's nothing to report?

you need to seek the help of a tax professional. the .124 of taxable wages includes the employers and employees share of SS taxes as does the .029 for medicare. depending on the total amount (line 12) you may have been required to make monthly or even more frequent payments. you need to file 941's quarterly even if all the lines are $0 until you inform the IRS you will no longer be paying wages. at the end of the year you need to prepare W-2's and a W-3.

failure to file and/or failure to timely pay will subject you to penalties and interest.

Yes, the employer and employee portion of Social Security are reported together. There are a couple relevant lines, depending on your profile but if you have no taxable tips, on Form 941, line 5a (for social security, which is 6.2% or both the employer and employee for a total of 12.4%) and line 5c (for Medicare, which is 1.45% for both the employer and employee for a total of 2.9%) and 5d ( for additional Medicare of 0.9% which only the employee pays). A great Authorized IRS e-file Provider is Tax-Me, https://tax-me.com/m_941US.php

should you need help calculating the amount (and efiling a form 941 return).
