      <description>As long as there is a debt and you file jointly you will need to file that form if you want any of your refund.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Filing separately is usually much worse for both parties. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;And yes, you can still file the 8379 for 2015 .... you will have to mail it in.</description>
