No, it does not get reported on your tax return. This form must be reported on your dependent's tax return if the dependent is required to file.

If the Form 1099-MISC is $400 or more then your dependent is required to file a tax return even if there is no other income. This is considered self employment if the amount is in box 7, nonemployee compensation. Self employment tax will begin at this amount.

View the image attached for "other situations" when a return is required to be filed.

On the dependent's return be sure to select they are being claimed by someone else.

There is one limited exception, but it doesn't apply because your dependent also has a W-2: Alaskans who receive Permanent Fund dividends get a special 1099-MISC from the state (not Box 7, so no SE tax); that, along with interest (1099-INT) & dividends (1099-DIV), can be reported on your return if they're your dependent's ONLY income. (Even then it's not advisable.) Since your dependent has a W-2, they should file their own tax return.

Yes, it does. A dependent with a W-2 must file their own tax return. (In theory you may not HAVE to file if you're below a certain amount of income, but most of the time you will anyway to claim a refund of certain withholdings and possibly EITC.)
