      <description>&lt;P&gt;If your ex pays the tax according to the decree, then there will be no back tax to levy.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The only thing you can file with your tax is an innocent spouse relief form 8857, but that does not mean that the IRS will grant the relief.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Per a note in the 8857 form:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;
  &lt;I&gt;Note. A divorce decree stating that your former spouse must pay all taxes does not necessarily mean you qualify for relief.&lt;/I&gt;
  &lt;BR /&gt;
