    <description>Hi i recently received a letter from the IRS asking for me to send them the 1095A form and the 8962 form. Now i had filed before I received the 1095A, now that i have the 1095A i amended. Do I still need to send the IRS a copy of the 1095A and the 8962?</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;B&gt;It depends. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/B&gt;You technically did not need to amend the return, but only produce the forms. &amp;nbsp;(Amending the return does accomplish that). &amp;nbsp;If you have mailed in the entire amended return, you can choose to wait. &amp;nbsp;If you have not mailed it in, then only send the IRS the 1095-A and the 8962 with the attachment on the letter. &amp;nbsp;(You should be able to fax this if you choose). &amp;nbsp;Even if you mailed in the amend, you can still do this, and allow the IRS to process your return faster. &amp;nbsp;The IRS will disregard your amended return when they see your account reflects the 1095-A and 8962.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
