My ex wife and I claim our children every other year. This is NOT my year but do I still put them in the dependent section or just leave it blank?

You only want a child listed in Turbo Tax if one of these apply:

1/ You are claiming the child as a dependent -or-

2/ You have primary custody of the child, even if you are not claiming the child as a dependent this year.

If you are neither, it is best to remove the child to avoid an issue.
