In TurboTax online,

After sign-in, select Pick up where you left off
At the right upper corner, in the search box, type in 1099B and press Enter
Select Jump to 1099B
The next screen, Did you sell any investments in 2019? select Yes
Next screen, Did you get a 1099-B or a brokerage statement for these sales? select Yes
Next screen, Choose your bank or brokerage, select Charles Schwab and Continue
Next screen, Sign in to Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. and we'll get your tax forms

Schwab is missing because the Schwab servers used for that purpose are down, probably because Schwab is getting ready for the 2018 tax season. The Schwab website says some forms will be available mid-February.

Sorry but you are too late to import data from a financial institution for a 2019 return and too early for a 2020 return. If you are still trying to work on a 2019 return you will need to enter your data manually.

You may need to check your brokerage to see if they are allowing third-party access. Although the following Help Article is for Schwab, it is possible that your brokerage has restricted TurboTax's access to your statements unless you grant consent, and you might need to do something similar to what is described here How can I fix my 1099 import issue?

Please follow the instructions here if you are having trouble importing your 1099.

If you are unable to import still, you can follow the instructions here to enter a large number of stock transactions in Turbo Tax.

The problem with downloading Schwab 1099 etc into TT lies with the TT form. The form freezes, does not show any words, cursor doesn't move, etc. If I go to the online TT site, it may work better, but I have Deluxe on my computer and the only thing left to do is to import from Schwab. Yes, 3rd party permissions are in place.

When will this be fixed by TT??? It seems this is a common problem as this same discussion is taking place all over the web.

Tried to import my Schwab 1099. Like every one else on this thread, it simply does NOT work. I check to ensure 3rd party access is enabled. Giant PITA. TurboTax/Intuit, you're letting a lot of people down with your products. When will this get fixed?
