      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;B&gt;Premiums deducted from your paycheck are usually pre-tax&lt;/B&gt;, which means they are deducted from your wages &lt;B&gt;before&lt;/B&gt; taxes are applied. You cannot deduct such premiums as a medical expense as this would be "double-dipping".&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;
