  &lt;B&gt;On the Federal return is gets reported the same as the other income.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/B&gt;
&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;
  &lt;B&gt;Then if this income was actually earned in another state, (not just the issuer of the 1099Misc being from another state), a non-resident state return may need to be filed.&lt;/B&gt;
&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It would depend on how much it is and what state ii is, as the states can vary significantly on if a return is required. There are also some states with no income tax.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
