I had the same problem. In the pamphlet that can in the box, or the box itself, there is a website listed for turbotax. Get on this website. After poking around a bit, I was able to get a phone number for someone to "chat" with. After about 10 minutes, I was connected to a live person. I explained my problem, and he guided me through the steps necessary to download a copy from the internet. Don't really know what's going on with the CDs purchased from Sam's. Hope this helps.
