Since the online program is closed for the 2016 tax season, you have to buy, install and use the desktop/cd version of TurboTax 2016. But for a 1040-EZ, in my opinion it's not worth paying for the software since it's to easy to do by hand. Just get the blank form directly from the IRS website at https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-prior/f1040ez--2016.pdf and print it. Then fill it out manually and mail it to the IRS.
